On Vacation

I’m not at home right now. No, I am in the Days in in Tawas, in the Jacuzzi sweet. Jenn is sleeping, and I was bored and needed to blog, so here it is.

Trip up was OK, no bad weather. I was a little afraid we might get some, but we were good.

We went to G’s Pizzeria for dinner and stopped at Carter’s market for some snacks. Spent some time in out private jacuzzi, and did some swimming in the pool downstairs too. Had some popcorn and watching Adult Swim now. Is funny, no internet access (says “Dataport in each room”, means is a phone jack, too bad I don’t have dial-up I guess), and only 19 channels. In order, 2 – 20 (thats 19):

NBC, Fox, CNN, Headline News, Weather Channel, USA, YBS, Discovery, Animal Planet, CBS, ABC, Cartoon Network, Fox Sports, ESPN, Food Network, Travel Channel, VH1, Starz, and Encore.

Honestly, I am OK with the selection. Cartoon Network, FoodTV, Discovery, TLC, and the 4 networks and I would be pretty much good. Maybe History Channel too. My problem is that 3 of the 4 networks come in for shit, Fox is the only one not made nearly impossible to watch by static and snow. Is just sad.

Hey “Me”, you haven’t responded yet.

First up, er, Second up: Wednesday’s update will either be rather early or very late (before 12pm Wed. or after 2pm Thurs.). This is due to me being out of town. Details will come either Thur. or Saturday.

One year ago today Jenn and I first met, at her dorm at SVSU. Yay!

The fun unmentionable is back. Should last about a month, maybe 2. I’m happy that I got it, but sad cause of what is means. You have no clue what I’m talking about though. That makes it more fun though, for me anyway.

I am still unsure of what is happening with the website.

I received payment for my 3rd item on eBay. Is exciting.

I sold more stuff on eBay.

I have decided I can not be trusted. I get bored and need something to look at online, and ended up doing way too much research on DV camcorders. Bad idea. As my mom would say “NOOOOO”.

Sick, Jenn’s Car, Poll, Category.

Hmmm…

I might be sick, maybe not though. I won’t go into details.

Jenn’s car went in for repairs today, and got a GMC Canyon for a rental. I was needless to say a bit jealous (but too sick feeling to be more than a little).

I now have 1 whole vote in the poll, and it was a pity vote. New poll goes up Thursday.

Note the new category, and the website is gone. Reorganization work will continue over the next few weeks.

If you could live in any year of your life, what would it be? Must have been a time since your birth 1900, and yes you stay as old as you are now.

I would choose early 94 probably. Is a good year of the early/mid 90s (fun era). Music was cool, Nirvana and Green Day were just starting out, no boy bands (except New Kids) or reality TV yet, computers were cool, even if they did max at 50MHz, and gas was uber cheaper. TV was good too, Discovery and TLC actually had educational stuff on. Ooh, and those cool slap on bracelets that slit your wrists open weren’t banned yet! OOOH! And Apple’s stock price was only about $16, compared to today’s high of $89.08 with 2 splits since (a $1000 investment then would be worth around $22,500 today)!

Bored, So Very Very Bored.

Valentine’s Day, and a DejaVu-iness.

Well, I have been doing nothing for about an hour now in boredom, so I figured I would blog. Not much to blog about though.

Valentine’s Day went well. I gave Jenn a dozen lavender roses and a teddy bear, she gave me a CD, a belt, and a meat thermometer (no, those don’t sound like romantic gifts, but they are ones I wanted). We went to Applebee’s for dinner. That’s about all.

Hmmm… What else.

I guess we could look at what I wrote a year ago.

I got a webcam from Suchyta (that I need to post on eBay)
Was being lazy (what else is new)
Tax refund and fin aid weren’t back yet (at least I have refund this year)

And that’s about it. Apparently 2/15 is just an uneventful day.

I can not tell you why I was sad last time, because I had to accept a non disclosure agreement, hence I can not disclose any information.

Jenn, Todd Stevens and I are going bowling tonight.

My brother and his roommate came for the weekend. He only has 2 weeks to go.

I AM going back to Delta in the fall, for a real major this time. Mechanical Engineering Technology, followed by Manufacturing Technology Management at SVSU. Yes, it means it will take me 8 years for a BS, but ohh well. At least I finally figured something out (for now).

No more fun, Taxes, and thats all.

So my really fun and exciting thing I had to do ended, it’s so sad.

My tax refund was supposed to be in yesterday, but it never arrived. Now the IRS says the 11th, and if not wait till the 18th.

Hmm…

Well, due to a lack of anything else to write about, I guess I will go.

Various Stuffs

Superbowl, TV shows, Pic, and SnowFest.

Well, we watched most of the Superbowl, with the exception of while we were cooking. I pretty much knew New England would win.

We made jalapeno poppers and buffalo chicken fingers for dinner. Too much fried food I think.

The very hyped Simpsons was decent, but not great. American Dad was good, but not Family Guy.

Jenn and I went to SnowFest in Frankenmuth on Friday. It was ok, not all I hoped.
